Fiat Chrysler Automobile Corporation (FCA), is an Italian-American multinational corporation and is the world’s eighth largest auto maker. The group was established in October 2014 by integrating Fiat and Chrysler into a new holding company. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ corporate headquarters is domiciled in Amsterdam, and the financial headquarters are in London, both for tax purposes. The holding company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Milan’s Borsa Italiana. Chrysler is one of the “Big Three” automobile manufacturers in the United States, headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The original Chrysler Corporation was founded in 1925 by Walter Chrysler from the remains of the Maxwell Motor Company. Three new hybrid electric Jeep models are making their domestic debuts at the annual CES technology conference in Las Vegas this week as part of Fiat Chrysler’s plans to electrify all vehicles of the iconic SUV brand by 2022.
The Italian-American automaker is showing off plug-in hybrid electric versions of the Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Compass and Jeep Renegade, which all feature a new “4xe” badge — a play on Jeep’s reputation as a 4×4 off-road brand.
“Electrification, including the upcoming no-compromise Jeep 4xe vehicles, will modernize the Jeep brand as it strives to become the leader in ‘green’ eco-friendly premium technology,” According to Fiat Chrysler.
The vehicles are expected to assist Fiat Chrysler in meeting U.S. fuel economy standards and help in reshaping the brand’s gas-guzzling SUV image.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Peugeot owner PSA have sealed a deal to join forces in a 50-50 share merger worth about $50 billion. PSA and FCA will create a group that would have sold 8.7 million vehicles last year, putting it fourth globally behind Volkswagen AG, the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance and Toyota Motor Corp, according to slides in a joint presentation by the companies.
Italian-American FCA is currently placed 10th in the world, with 2018 sales of 4.8 million vehicles. Its French partner is close behind in 11th place, with 2018 sales of 3.9 million.

The new FCA logo was created by the Italian branding company Robilant Associati. This brings to the end, the use of the Fiat S.p.A. logo and Chrysler Pentastar logo for group branding.
